The UA Infinity 2.0, Under Armour’s top-selling girls' shoe, spans Infant to Grade school sizes and continues to exceed its forecasted lifecycle.

For this project, I highlighted all the women working on it and collected images from when they were young. Girls play hard, they don’t care about getting dirty or how their hair looks. Girls are not afraid to take up space and be aggressive. I wanted to empower girls to keep that sparkle when slipping on these shoes and heading out to play.

The upper has a cage overlay in the mid-foot for secure lockdown. I did lab dips in each color to ensure the synthetic material finish executed as intended. I decided on a neoprene bootie construction for ease of entry, to empower girls to play boldly.

The design also adapted tooling from the Mojo 2, a $65 running shoe from the same season that I designed.
