The Infinite Pro Trail, a $140 trail running shoe, marks the first off-road extension of the Infinite franchise. Initially planned as a simple upper update, it evolved into a fully reimagined model for FW24, mirroring the adaptability of trail athletes.
A highlight of this project was working with development to create a new trail specific last, and opening a size run for one of our athletes, Brian Tolbert, during the creation process. The amount of wear test feedback I got to directly apply to this model during the design process to improve the fit and feel was really inspiring.
Key features include a single-layer engineered mesh upper with a floating internal bootie, a haptic print for added durability, and a dual-density midsole with soft foam closest to the foot. The Vibram outsole boasts smaller lugs in the arch to minimize mud caking. During the final design review, I proposed a weatherized version with UA’s STORM technology using the same tooling. This model is now in line and set to launch in FW24.
